Lane Financial Institute™ The Lane Financial Institute was founded in 1989 as the continuing education division of The Lane Group of CPA's. Throughout the years, we have published and taught many worksite and continuing education seminars. Continuing Professional Education for CPAs. Many of our courses have been approved by professional licensing boards to fulfill the continuing education requirements for attorneys, accountants, financial planners, realtors, and insurance agents, All courses are taught by experienced instructors who have spent many years working in their area of expertise. The course descriptions contain a symbol indicating which courses qualify as continuing education hours for the various professions. When given sufficient notice we can often revise the course content to obtain accreditation approval for your professional staff. Continuing Professional Education for CPAs. Course descriptions with the symbol CPE are intended to meet the standards for continuing education hours for Certified Public Accountants. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses. Minimum Continuing Legal Education. Course descriptions with the symbol MCLE have been approved for minimum continuing legal education by The State Bar of California. However, this approval does not constitute an endorsement of the views or opinions which are expressed by the course sponsor, instructor, authors, or lecturer. Course descriptions with an * following the MCLE have applied for approval but the status is still pending. Continuing Education for Insurance Agents. Course descriptions with the symbol INS have been approved for continuing education credit by the California Department of Insurance. The Department of Insurance Approval of these courses does not constitute an endorsement of the views or opinions which are expressed by the course sponsor, instructor, authors or lecturer. In order to receive continuing education credit for Course descriptions with an * following the INS you will be given materials to complete the course by correspondence and must pass a written exam with a score of 70% or better. Upon request, we will customize course material to be taught as workshops at your company's workplace to teach your employees about their employee benefits and the most effective way to fit these benefits into their personal financial strategies.
